Konan sat on the couch, an ice cream container in her lap. She sucked on the spoon thoughtfully as she flipped through the channels.
"No, no, Leader-sama." She heard Itachi scold. Konan turned her head to look at the two.
"You have to do it like this, watch." Itachi ordered as he eyed Deidara who was walking by. He landed a pinch right on Deidara's ass, earning a surprised squeak from the blonde.
"Well how do you know if you did it right?" Pein raised an eyebrow.
"You know if you did it right when--" Itachi started.
"Pervert!!" Deidara landed a strike on Itachi's face, making the Uchiha fall to the floor.
"...that happens." Itachi groaned from the floor.
Konan started laughing her head off, she couldn't help it. The sight of Itachi on the ground holding his cheek where there was a hand mark where he was slapped was priceless.
Itachi only glared at Konan, stood up, and walked away.
Konan's smile faded quickly and she resumed he gloomy face.
ItaDei ch. 3: Deidara's DannaWARNING: contains yaoi! (guyxguy)
Sasori played with his beloved puppet. He admired how it's delicate woodwork could be damaged so easily and yet stand against almost anything.
There was a knock on the door.
Sasori disconnected the aquamarine chakra strings that he was controlling the puppet with and placed the puppet on his bed.
"Come in." He growled.
Itachi opened the door.
"What do you want?" Sasori demanded and scowled at Itachi.
"Meet you new partner." Itachi said gruffly and pushed Deidara in front of Sasori. With this done he went out the door and slammed it shut.
Sasori looked at the nervous looking blond.
"Well, come here! I don't bite." Sasori laughed. "much." He added. He patted the placed beside him on the bed.
Deidara sat down next to Sasori and looked away.
"Look at me." Sasori said and pouted.
Deidara turned to look at him, staring him in his cold, maroon eyes.
"Tell me about yourself." Sasori ordered.
"My name is Deidara, un. And if you haven't noticed already I'm a man

Deidara hid behind the wall. He had no idea what was going on. All he knew was that his Sensei had told him to run; and he did.
"I like the game we're playing. Cat and mouse, right?" A cold, purring voice called out to Deidara.
Deidara tried to silence his panting; but to no avail. He heard footsteps coming closer. He pressed against the wall further.
Then suddenly a hand yanked his high pony tail and drug him to his feet.
He cried out in pain and looked at his assaulter: a raven haired man of about 17, around his age with bright crimson eyes.
"Hmm. You don't look like much. But with real talent and the puppet's discipline, you could be a good member." The man growled.
"Ehh, Itachi-sama!" A blue skinned man shouted. He had a huge sword wrapped in bandages in hand. "Is that the one we're looking for?" He pointed a finger at Deidara.
Deidara couldn't hold it in. He burst into tears. The pain in the back of his head increased.
Itachi yanked his hair again.
SUNDAY'S CHILDDeidara, what day is it?
Hmm? Its Sunday, un.
Really? I could have sworn it was Monday.
Mondays child is fair of face, Tuesdays child is full of grace .
What are you singing now, brat?
Its a poem, danna. Deidara and Sasori were lounging about in their room, Sasori working on his puppets and Deidara sitting on their bed, staring quietly at the ceiling. Not realizing it, the sculptor had begun to sing under his breath.
A poem? It sounds familiar. Sasori had turned around to look at his partner.
Well, technically its a nursery rhyme, un. Deidara shut his eyes and began to speak in a voice that clearly indicated he was reciting from memory. Mondays child is fair of face, Tuesdays child is full of grace. Wednesdays child is full of woe, Thursdays child has far to go. Fridays child is loving and giving, Saturdays child wo
